Property Description

The Swallow's Nest is a short ferryboat ride from Seattle, Tacoma, or the Olympic Peninsula. It affords travelers the opportunity to sojourn in a peaceful, country retreat. Eight charming cottages in four separate locations are furnished in a comfortable, warm, manner with plants, a rocking or arm chair, television, light cooking facilities, books, magazines, and a supply of tea, cocoa and fresh coffee. Two of the cottages have a magnificent view of Mount Rainier and the Puget Sound. Two are adjacent to a lovely wooded area next to the Island's premier golf course. Still another overlooks the scenic Burton Quartermaster Harbor. The community of Vashon offers a variety of activities for visitors. You may enjoy kayaking, boating, fishing and swimming. The Island has many charming restaurants, a movie theater, antique shops, art galleries, shops and parks. Bicyclists will enjoy miles of paved roads and many outstanding views.
