Property Description
Casa Escondida (the "hidden house" is a secluded and serene bed & breakfast that is nestled on six acres in the awe inspiring mountains of northern New Mexico. A full, hot breakfast is included each morning and is served in our breakfast room where the morning sun filters through the many surrounding French doors. You can look forward to completing your day with a relaxing soak in the outdoor hot tub. The bed & breakfast was built in the "Spanish colonial adobe style" of architecture that is typical of northern New Mexico. This is somewhat akin to a southwest country inn. Architectural elements, such as kiva fireplaces, wooden tongue & groove ceilings, Saltillo tile floors and wooden vigas, all add to the warmth and rustic charm of Casa Escondida. Set aside some time to appreciate the slow paced, serenity of the secluded bed & breakfast, where you can linger over the morning newspaper in the cozy living room or savor a cup of tea in the sunny breakfast room or perhaps they will find you simply whiling away some time on the front porch. The living room provides a warm & comfortable gathering place. Enjoy a cozy fire, swap stories with the other guests, peruse the travel book library, listen to music or simply sit & relax. The serenity of Casa Escondida is truly enhanced by the fact that they have no TVs.
