The blush of fragrant gardens and cool shadows of stately trees embrace the colorful Inn where wayfarers, corporate travelers, and the romantic at heart find respite and refresh their spirit in a winsome atmosphere abounding with artworks, antiques and untold treasures. Join them as they bask near the whispering fire or, with a copy of LITTLE WOMEN or WALDEN in hand, are led by the resident cat to a garden seat for a spot of afternoon tea. Their daily lives have been informed by those philosophers and writers who have owned and walked the property before them; Emerson, Hawthorne, Thoreau and the Alcotts. It has been the innkeepers fortune, for over 25 years, to be able to share with their guests the feeling of joy they hold for this special place.
