Explore the elegant lodging facilities of the Briar Rose Bed and Breakfast Inn, located in the heart of Boulder, Colorado. It is run by Zen monks and the gardens offer a private retreat for personal reflection, a warm conversation, or simply enjoying the many different plants, flowers, trees and shrubs. The living room features a wood burning fireplace, and is an inviting spot for reading, meeting with friends, or enjoying a fine pot tea with fresh baked shortbread cookies. Guests may sit in the meditation room and listen to the small water waterfall in the garden below. Guests start the day with a complete organic breakfast, including a fresh fruit cup, fresh baked sweet breads, yogurt with raspberries, an egg dish with toast, fresh orange juice and homemade granola. Organic coffee and tea are freshly brewed. Breakfast is served either in the dining room or on the sun porch, weather permitting. Arrangements can be made for in room service. Tea trays are available throughout the day, offering a wide selection of herbal and loose leaf green and black teas imported directly from China, India and Japan.
