Taharaa Mountain Lodge is a luxury bed & breakfast offering unique and romantic accommodations to visitors of Estes Park and the Rocky Mountain National Park area. This log and stone, board and batten lodge was custom built in 1997 and is reminiscent of the grand lodges of the Adirondacks and Rockies built by oil barons and industry scions in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Set on more than five acres of land atop a beautiful plateau just four miles outside of Estes Park, Taharaa offers a secluded retreat with spectacular views of the Mummy Range mountains and territorial landscape. Most important is the personalized hospitality and gracious service offered by the innkeepers who have infused the Taharaa Mountain Lodge with the best of 30 years of travel to outstanding inns and hotels in the United States, Great Britain, Europe, and beyond. Taharaa combines the amenities of a world class lodge with the scenic beauty and relaxed atmosphere creating a memorable experience. Guests are greeted each morning with a gourmet breakfast in the dining room or the adjacent deck and relax at day's end with refreshments in the great room next to a huge, crackling fire. The lodge also offers a comfortable den, solarium, conference, exercise and sauna rooms, as well as a spacious outdoor gazebo and spa with breathtaking views of the mountains and wide open skies. The lodge is decorated in a Western Rocky Mountain motif and features beautiful works of art throughout. Rugs, pottery, paintings and basketry from the region adorn the halls and rooms of the lodge. Guests are invited to meander the walking trails with benches that allow for casual strolls or new vantages of the excellent views.
