Property Description
The English Bay Inn is an elegant and romantic Bed and Breakfast where you will enjoy an unexpected hideaway in the heart of the city. You will be delighted to find the Guest House tucked away between high rise apartments in a quiet corner of Vancouver's West End. The Inn is only a one block stroll to either Stanley Park or the seawall promenade that meanders at water's edge along English Bay Beach. You can easily walk to Granville Island or downtown along tree lined streets or past fashionable shops on Robson Street. Beyond that, over the Lions Gate suspension bridge, are the majestic North Shore Mountains.
The Tudor house has four cozy bedrooms and two fully self contained suites to choose from, each furnished with rare antiques. The inn has a secluded, bamboo shaded garden, as well as a luxuriously appointed living room. A full gourmet breakfast is served in the 18th century style dining room. A sample breakfast menu includes coffee, tea, orange juice, exotic and local fruit plate, a variety of homemade scones, poached eggs with smoked salmon or French toast, or chicken & asparagus crepes, or a seafood omelette, or barbecued salmon and broccoli quiche. English Bay Inn provides complimentary on site parking and concierge service to help you plan your stay in Vancouver. You are welcome to feel at home, warm yourself by the living room fire or chat with other guests over a cup of tea or a glass of port.
